Terms and Conditions

Welcome to VynRide. These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the VynRide platform, including our mobile applications, website, and related services. By using VynRide as a rider, driver, or visitor, you agree to comply with these Terms.

Note: If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the platform.

SECTION 1 — DEFINITIONS

  • “Platform” refers to the VynRide mobile app, driver app, website, and all related digital services.
  • “Rider” refers to any person using VynRide to request transportation services.
  • “Driver” refers to any person providing transportation through the VynRide platform.
  • “Services” means ride-hailing, mobility, support, and other features VynRide offers.
  • “We/Us/Our” refers to VynRide.

SECTION 2 — ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By creating an account or using the platform, you:

  • Agree to these Terms and Conditions
  • Agree to our Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy
  • Confirm that all information you provide is accurate
  • Are at least 18 years old (or the legal driving/riding age in your city)

VynRide may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the platform means you accept all changes.

SECTION 3 — USER ACCOUNTS & RESPONSIBILITIES

3.1 Account Creation

Users must register with accurate personal information. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.

3.2 Prohibited Activities

Users may NOT:

  • Create multiple fraudulent accounts
  • Use the platform for illegal activity
  • Abuse, threaten, or harass other users
  • Tamper with app functionality
  • Use someone else’s account without permission
3.3 Device & Network Requirements

You must have a compatible smartphone, active internet, and updated app version to use VynRide.

SECTION 4 — DRIVER OBLIGATIONS

Drivers agree to:

  • Maintain valid driving documents
  • Keep vehicles safe, clean, and roadworthy
  • Drive responsibly and follow traffic laws
  • Treat riders with respect
  • Accept trips only when able to complete them safely
  • Not discriminate or engage in misconduct
  • Not consume alcohol/drugs while driving

VynRide can deactivate drivers who violate policies.

SECTION 5 — RIDER OBLIGATIONS

Riders must:

  • Provide accurate pickup locations
  • Treat drivers and vehicles respectfully
  • Pay for all completed trips
  • Avoid damaging vehicles
  • Not misuse safety features or report false incidents

Riders who violate rules may be banned from the platform.

SECTION 6 — PAYMENT TERMS

6.1 Fare Structure

Fares are calculated based on distance, time, demand, or other factors. Estimated fares may vary from final fares depending on real-time conditions.

6.2 Payment Methods

VynRide accepts: Cash, Mobile Money, Debit/Credit Cards, VynRide Wallet/Credits.

6.3 Cancellation Fees

Fees may apply when: Riders cancel after a driver is already en route, or a driver waits beyond the grace period.

6.4 Driver Earnings

Drivers receive payment minus VynRide’s commission. Earnings summaries are available in the driver app.

SECTION 7 — SAFETY & CONDUCT

7.1 Safety Measures

VynRide provides: Driver verification, Trip tracking, SOS emergency button, Support and reporting systems.

7.2 Zero Tolerance Policy

We strictly prohibit: Violence or threats, Harassment or abuse, Discrimination, Illegal substances, Reckless driving.

SECTION 8 — CANCELLATION & REFUNDS

8.1 Rider Cancellations

Refunds are not guaranteed. Cancellation fees may apply based on timing.

8.2 Driver Cancellations

If a driver cancels, another driver will be assigned. Frequent cancellations may lead to driver penalties.

8.3 Refund Requests

Riders may request a review of incorrect fares or issues via the Help Center.

SECTION 9 — LOST & FOUND POLICY

VynRide is not responsible for items left behind in vehicles.
However, we assist riders and drivers in coordinating recovery of lost items through Trip history and Support channels.
Drivers may charge a return fee for delivering lost items.

SECTION 10 — PLATFORM ACCESS & LIMITATIONS

VynRide does not guarantee:

  • Uninterrupted service
  • Immediate driver availability
  • Error-free or glitch-free app performance

We may suspend access for maintenance or misuse.

SECTION 11 — DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY

VynRide is a technology platform, not a transportation company. Drivers are independent contractors, not employees. We are not liable for: Personal injury or property loss during trips, Delays, cancellations, or service disruptions, Driver or rider misconduct, Loss of data or system errors. Users accept trips at their own risk.

SECTION 12 — TERMINATION OF ACCOUNTS

VynRide may suspend or deactivate accounts for: Fraud or identity misuse, Safety violations, Non-payment, Repeated misconduct, Breach of Terms.
Users may also delete their accounts at any time.

SECTION 13 — INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All app logos, designs, features, and branding are the property of VynRide. Users may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission.

SECTION 14 — GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ghana. Any disputes will be resolved under local jurisdiction.
